OPENING OF ŠPANSKO MARKETPLACE

The renovated Špansko marketplace has been opened in Zagreb.

Based on our structural and civil engineering design, a new steel roof structure was built, covering the former marketplace open space of 1300 m 2 . The structure is a steel space truss, with a maximum span of 27 m, supported on six columns.
Utilizing a minimum number of columns, we were able to keep the same marketplace functionality, while greatly enhancing the service quality for all users.

On this project Metal-Projekt made the main and execution structural design, coordinated the design activities of all other design participants and conducted the designers supervision over execution works.
